I am also inspired by the work of one Youth serving organisation in particular in Jamaica and that is the National Center For Youth Development. I believe that life, especially human life is God's most beautiful creation. It doesn't matter how long a person lives, what matters is how that person lives. I am heavily inspired by my maternal grandmother who told me how important this life is, how to face failures and how to deal with happiness. Everyone loves success, but only few people know the importance of failures. A person who knows the taste of failure can only define that taste if and when they reach success. I was truly inspired... I am extremely passionate about Indigenous issues, and all facets of Indigenous struggles. I have worked in Treaty Land Entitlement and Specific Lands claims, which allowed me to gain invaluable knowledge of the legal systems for First Nation land claims in Canada. However, this was not the beginning of my introduction to Indigenous politics. I grew up in a home that was surrounded and occupied with people heavily involved in Indigenous politics.
